Here is my explain writing sample.

My Goal Setting Term 4 2019.

Recount Writing-Mini Golf.

WALT use the correct structure and language for Recount Writing.

On the holidays my family and I went to Funzone to go to 

Mini golf in Hamilton. 

First we went to Room 1 to start our game.

After we were finished in
Room 1 we went to Room 2. 

When I was there I was so nervous I could not stop smiling. 

I put my ball in 1st but my brother
put his ball in the hole 4 times.
Next we went to part 13. I think my sister won on part 13. 

After that the last mini golf ramp was the ball to go up this hill 

and it had 3 holes for the ball. In comes the

ball from the tunnel and into the hole.

After that we had a little play with the funzone devices. 

I really enjoyed my day there.

My birthday.

At home it was my birthday. I was turning 7. 

First me and my papa went to The Warehouse. 

At The Warehouse me and my papa  bought a whole lot of stuff for me.                                                                                                         Then me and my papa went to Countdown to get the mince, apples and pineapples. 

Me and my family wanted to cook a pineapple and apple pie. After that me and my papa went home. 

Next I opened my presents. I was so happy to have lovely presents.

Later on I opened all my presents. My brothers wanted to play with my stuff but I didn’t want them to play with my stuff because they were just new. I didn’t want them to break my presents.

Finally me and my family had dinner. The dinner was very yummy.

I had an amazing day.
