What is sound?

Sound is energy, sound is power.                      yes

How is sound made?

Sounds are created when something vibrates.                     yes 

How does sound travel?

When any object vibrates, it causes movement in the air particles. These particles bump into the particles close to them, which makes them vibrate too causing them to bump into more air particles. This makes a sound wave that carries the sound to your ear.        yes

How do we hear sounds?

Sound waves enter the outer ear and travel through a narrow passageway called the ear canal, which leads to the eardrum. The eardrum vibrates from the incoming sound waves and sends these vibrations to ear bones in the middle ear then the particles go to the cochlear into your brain and your brain tells you what the sound is.                          yes

Why can’t sound be heard in space?

We can't hear sound in space because there is no air or water in space but in your space ship you can hear sound.                          yes
