Happy Mothers day.

My Mum is amazing because she looks after me.

She has the best hopes for me.

Mum cuddles me and hugs me. She loves me very much

and I love her so so much.

She washes and dries the clothes and folds them.

She does the dishes and dries them.  

She helps my brothers and my sisters.

Persuasive Writing-Brushing Teeth

WALT use the correct language and structure for Persuasive Writing.

Brushing teeth

Teeth are important for chewing our food.

We need to look after them.

So I think we should brush our teeth every day.

Firstly I think we should brush our teeth everyday

so that we can have nice smelling teeth so we can look after our enamel.

Secondly I think we should brush our teeth every day because we need to look after our teeth.

If we don’t all of the germs will go in our teeth

and hurt our teeth.

Thirdly I think we should brush our teeth every day

so we can have clean teeth and very nice smiles.

So that is why I think we should brush our teeth every day.

I am learning to write my ideas in the right order.

At Timezone.

In the holidays I went to Timezone in Whangarei. Timezone had so many games. There I was playing bowling the wheel of fortune. I played Flappy Bird.

It was cool fun.

My sister gave me 16 tickets.

When I played my games I had 163 tickets.

I took my tickets to swap for my prizes.

I got a lucky dip and a lamb booklet.

I still had 80 more tickets left.

My brother had 845 tickets.

I enjoyed my day at Timezone especially winning prizes.

Here is my learning wall. It tells me what level I should be on and what level am I on.

Recount Writing-My sister's birthday.

I am learning to add my thoughts and feelings to my writing.

On Saturday it was my sister’s birthday. My sister was

turning 14. Me and my family brought lots of presents.

I got her some kind of oil. It is for your hair.

It smells yum and it makes your hair get more

curlier. Next we brought my sister’s birthday cake.

Then we had dinner. We had Jimmy Jacks.

The food was yummy.

After that me and my family had my sister’s birthday cake.

It was a sponge cake. It was very yum.

Finally we went to bed.

I thought it was a lovely family day. I was so happy.          

Recount Writing-At the Beach.

I am learning to write my ideas in the right order.

On the holidays me and my family went to the beach.

First we had a feed. Next we had a swim. It was

a lovely cool swim. Both of my brothers were at

the deep end. I wasn’t at the deep end

because it was too deep. The waves were so

rough. After that we walked out of the beach and had a rest. Then we went home.

I had a fun day at the beach. I was so happy.
