My birthday.

My birthday.

At home it was my birthday. I was turning 7. 

First me and my papa went to The Warehouse. 

At The Warehouse me and my papa  bought a whole lot of stuff for me.                                                                                                         Then me and my papa went to Countdown to get the mince, apples and pineapples. 

Me and my family wanted to cook a pineapple and apple pie. After that me and my papa went home. 

Next I opened my presents. I was so happy to have lovely presents.

Later on I opened all my presents. My brothers wanted to play with my stuff but I didn’t want them to play with my stuff because they were just new. I didn’t want them to break my presents.

Finally me and my family had dinner. The dinner was very yummy.

I had an amazing day.

Today my class and I made some pinwheels
we had to copy our teacher so we knew

Homework

I think we should do homework every day.

Firstly I think we should do homework every day to practice our spelling and our reading. Then we can get better at spelling and reading.

Secondly, I think we should do our homework every day so that  we can give our brain a workout and so that we can get a hundred percent in our spelling.  

So that is why I think we should do our homework every day.

Scratch Junior

 I am learning to code using Scratch Junior.

I like making my characters move.

It is very cool.

Recount Writing-At the zoo.

I am learning to write my ideas in the right order.

The zoo.

On the Holidays I travelled to Hamilton with my family to go to the zoo

I felt excited. My Mum had the tickets.

First we had a feed. Then I saw lots of

animals. My favourite animal was the Spider

Monkey.

Looking at the animals was fun. I was so happy.

After  that we went home and had a rest.

I had a fun day with my family at the zoo.

Happy Mothers day.

My Mum is amazing because she looks after me.

She has the best hopes for me.

Mum cuddles me and hugs me. She loves me very much

and I love her so so much.

She washes and dries the clothes and folds them.

She does the dishes and dries them.  

She helps my brothers and my sisters.

Persuasive Writing-Brushing Teeth

WALT use the correct language and structure for Persuasive Writing.

Brushing teeth

Teeth are important for chewing our food.

We need to look after them.

So I think we should brush our teeth every day.

Firstly I think we should brush our teeth everyday

so that we can have nice smelling teeth so we can look after our enamel.

Secondly I think we should brush our teeth every day because we need to look after our teeth.

If we don’t all of the germs will go in our teeth

and hurt our teeth.

Thirdly I think we should brush our teeth every day

so we can have clean teeth and very nice smiles.

So that is why I think we should brush our teeth every day.
